NGD! (Not Ibanez)

I'll keep this one simple.

Box!

"Knife!"

Innards!

Hmm, this text is all upside and backwards. Maybe it's from another hemisphere?

Wrapping!

Ah, that's more like it

Body

Check out dat color theory homework on the ground. Aw yeah.

Anywho, played the EC-407 at Guitar Center when I found out they didn't have any of the RGD7421's in and was disappointed. Really loved the neck on it and how it played, but wasn't sold on the shape and how much bigger they had to make the body to accomodate the 7th string. Instead, given how the neck was and how cool I am with superstrat bodies - I ordered this. I'm not immediately sold on it despite being a nice player and all, so it's going on a sort of "probation period." Guess that's what I get for ordering unseen and realizing I now have to play my guitars before I buy them. If I do return it, then I'll pick up the RGD and hope I jive with that better than this.

I found the RGD7421 to be quite uncomfortable. The bevel on the body is at a much wider angle than the RGD2127z's, so I don't think the body would feel much more comfortable than the body on your new guitar.

LIAR! Quit lying to me you lying liar. I can't hear you.

If that's true that's very upsetting, and it looks like I'll have to go back to my hunt for either a Schecter Loomis NT or pick up the Pendulum 7 like I initially planned on before becoming impatient.

I ordered one of these a couple of months ago and I was kinda iffy on it at first, but after getting it set up and playing it for a while I love it. I love LTD's but it did take some growing on me.

I just wish they came in different colors...we all have flat black MH-417s.

You're all going to hate me if you like this, but I've been played it since I got it and it's just very "eh" in my opinion. Nothing wrong with it's playability or anything, but it's not wowing me so I'm gonna send it back.

Hell I was hesitant even when ordering it just cause I don't order guitars without playing them first unless it's something really new like when the Intrepids came out; which was also the last guitar I bought brand new. The dude who helped me out was awesome, but I should've known this would happen when I ordered it going against my gut but oh well, what are you gonna do.

I've been looking at both the RGA7's and the 7421's and I'll probably snag a used RGA7 and swap the pups since I do like archtops, its just I need I guess a "true" archtop like the RGA's versus LP and this style where your arm rests at a weird angle.

With my experience in 7s, I think the Schecter Damien Elite 7 is very good. It doesn't have a"baseball neck" as some people say. It sounds good and feels good to me.

Certainly not an android

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!

Is it just not what you expected? I've always been kind of "eh" on this guitar (not a big fan of ESP's flat black finishes), but every other LTD 7 I've played has been spot-on.

Meh...to each their own. I've always loved LTD 6's and 7's and have played them for years...kinda like I've never really liked Ibanez guitars too much lol. I used to own an RG7420 and it just felt too rinky dink to me.

I initiallly went into GC that day to try out an RGD7421 or an RGA7, both of which they didnt have in so I spent some time jamming on an EC-407 ehich had more mojo than this, but I just dont groove with singlecute besides the Akerfeldt SE. So I ordered this knowing the neck would be the same just with a traditional body, and I'm just not wowed enough by it to justify the cost. I had eyeballed em for a while and shouldve snagged the used one that popped up here when I really wanted one but I took a gamble and didnt win. Oh well, Ill send it back and snag a used RGA7 and if I dont like THAT - then Ill buy an older 76/420 and learn to deal with a trem
