NGD Ibanez RG1527MGW

I've always wanted a 7 with a maple board, and I've always wanted a white 7 so it makes sense right? Initially I was going to get the RG927 premium but when I found out this beauty was discontinued, and that Ibanez had 2 left in stock, I had to pull the trigger!

So far I'm SUPER happy and impressed with the overall quality. Maple board is so smooth playing and punchy sounding, and the edge pro is a surprisingly good upgrade! I'm going to upgrade the pickups of course, thinking Crunch Lab or D Sonic paired with a Liquifire. What do you guys think?

Here's the pics:

Looking good dude!

That's an Edge Zero though.

Never saw them with Edge Zeroes... Shouldn't there be a Z in the model name somewhere? 1527MZ GW or something?

It really looks killer no matter what. I am a little bit jealous, although I prefer the Pro to the Zero.

Fantastic guitars man. I just got rid of one. Drop a D-Sonic in the bridge of that thing and you'll love it even more! Also, convert it to full floating. I absolutely grew to hate the Zero Resistance setup haha

Nicest 1527 there ever was. Love mine! Put some pearl machine heads on those tuners, you won't regret it! They go very well with the rest of the guitar.

Happy NGD!

I love mine...the maple just ads so much definition to chords...and the snap to boot. I had to get my 1527RB setup the same way and the white one just pisses all over it (even with the stock pickups). The RB has a C Lab and AN7 and it doesn't sound close to the MGW.
Happy NGD man!

As an aside, shitsøn where'd you get the gotoh sized pearl buttons dude?
