well with the release iof the new k7 seen on the ikebe website

we will be saying goodbye to the very last of the production guitars with a lo-pro , this marks a sad day for me as my hopes now of owning a guitar with a lo-pro are all but gone for future purchases,

the question i ask is why have ibanez cheaped out with hardware/trems etc

i mean i love my EP7 and ts counterpart but the lack of locking studs is dissapoiting

anyone care to comment

Its not that hard to put locking studs in the Edge pro series, and you can always buy used...

Yes, i like the stars and the cancer zodiac inlay.

But not for that guitar!

The K7 it's a symbol of Heavy and Low Tunning.

I want back the old K7.

I'll go with Shannon on this one - the new K7 IMO is much better. I dig the whole cosmic vibe I get out of the guitar a lot more than the big K7 they had before. I like it

The only thing that could make it better would be to remove the star part of the inlays, and instead have dots with transforming radii in their place, kind of like the infinity inlay on John Myung's basses

Well, it makes it MUNKY's guitar. Beforehand it was just a Korn signature. Now it's his, it's not a common ground of what he and Head want. The Cancer Zodiac and the stars are supposed to symbolize his daughter I believe. She must have been born in Cancer, and I think her middle name is Star.

Either way, I think it looks fucking awesome.
