Yeah, now we have an even cheesier "69" inlay, and plastic star inlays to boot. How this is any better I'll never know. Why the "k7" model name on the 12th was blasphemy yet THIS is cool... once again... puzzles me. I'm done with Ibanez anyways, but still I'd rather get the old ones. Especially since all K7s were made in 2001 and Ibanez from that time seem to be alot nicer than the new stuff they are putting out.

But not for that guitar!

The K7 it's a symbol of Heavy and Low Tunning.

I want back the old K7.

I dig it, but I'm a cancer so.....

could live without the stars though, although it fits with the whole astrology thing.

Well the last Lo-Pro equipped guitar is gone, but the Lo-Pro's been around since 1990. 16 year's worth of Lo-Pro equipped 7's are still out there in the used market.

Right now my guitar plans are KXK, the new S7 and then when the new K7's been out long enough to drive the used prices down on the old one I'm getting one of the old ones.

Actually, with Dimarzio pickups and also a mahogany body, I'd rather have the new K7. Sharp looking guitar, and whether you look at the "69" as being the symbol for cancer, or look at it as being "69, dude!" I still like it better than "K7".

The Edge Pro doesn't bother me; I block them anyway.

Eh, I kind of like that inlay. It's better than having K7 on your guitar.

RIP MIKE

Ok, the inlay is better but still goofy, and the trem is worse than before. How exciting.

Moving onto the S7, that ZR7 trem is about the only 7-string trem I'd be interested in. Put that on an 7-string RGA guitar, and I'd be interested in owning an Ibanez again.

Love the Cancer symbol, hate the stars. Could be because that's my sign too.

Much preferred over the "K7" inlay.

That new trem system on the S7 looks like one of those Chinese fakes.

swivelhippy has a spectacular aura about
I'm not keen on the neck on the new K7. I like the old one with no markings on. The K7 isn't that bad really, it's the model number after all. I don't like the Cancer sign one bit. The neck looks cheap. I've seen loads of Chinese guitars around at the moment with funky fretboards. I alway though it looked like the money was being spent on the wrong things.

The body looks interesting, I've got the Blue Spangly body on mine and it is a little dull (and only mildly spangly).

I don't think I'd rush out to buy one.

It's just struck me why I don't like it. It looks like a daisy rock guitar!

With you on the K7, and holy shit, less than $700? That rules.
