NGD: Back in a 7 Hellraiser style

So decided I needed another 7 string and that my Schecter Blackjack Baritone just wasnt cutting it for everything I wanted to do. So after MUCH deliberation I decided on this guy and I love it. Almost got a black one and Im glad I didnt because I have 2 other black guitars and wanted to mix it up.

The EMG 707tw sound pretty damn good to my ear! Have 2 other guitars with EMG 81s so its different tonally but I like it alot!!

Neck is not as thick as I hear everyone bitching about. To me atleast. I like the feel and width and thickness. Sure it wasnt like my old 7421 but Ive been a Les Paul guy for years so it feels good.

All in all I like my new Hellraiser 7 and think we are going to get along just fine!!!

Nice score dude! I have the black one and absolutely love it. Best guitar I've ever owned. I agree about the Schecter neck also. They have a reputation for being large but it's they feel awesome in my hands.

oh yeah i remember those.

nice guitar and the neck to me is perfect. actually the best of any. i just love schecter necks. you can really get a grip on them.

I'm really liking the neck more and more. It's pretty much how I like them. Feels solid but can move fast.

Man if only this had an ebony board, white +7+ ebony= sex to me!!!

Man I really wanted an ATX C7 but I came across this deal and couldnt pass it up. I dont see many ATX's for sale anywhere. People must hold onto them!! I wanted to get a guitar with Blackouts too, since this is now the third guitar in my stable with EMGs!!

Congrats on the new guitar. I personally have never been a fan of the huge amount of abalone on those guitars, but that's a personal thing.

I like the abalone for something different. All my other guitars have no binding or cream binding so it stands out in my collection more.

Congratz! just tested this guitar today, the distortion is neat! but the jeff loomis one blows it away with its clean.

It has the same pickups as the Loomis so must be the differences in the wood.

Abalone has always looked better in person to me. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but can tolerate it.

Working on getting a clip of it in action but my recording skills suck the big one. Then I only have a cell phone camera if I wanted to just take video of it. I'll try it out tonight and see what happens.

Personally I'm not a really big fan of the binding around the body like on that one, but that guitar has some nice specs!
