New Neck Day!!! (wave content inside)
Just picked up an S7420 Wave inlay neck from a fellow forum member. I'm loving it so far. Surprisingly it has a slightly different profile than the original neck that came on my S7420bp. The new neck seems to be slightly thinner and rounder whereas my old neck had more of a D profile with a flat spot on the back. Anyway, On to the PICS
![]() ![]() ![]() The guitar with the new neck installed ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm thrilled with how it looks. I've always loved the wave inlays on the s series and now I have one. It also makes my guitar a little more unique since the S7420bp only ever got the dot inlays. |

i think the hand sanding of these necks makes them all slightly different... i have two RG7620s with the same neck and were only made only about 500 guitars away from each other (both made in 2000) and they both have somewhat different feels to them..
also, that lo-pro edge you put there makes that guitar soooo much more awesome |

sickest s7420 ive seen!! i prefer the finish on the FM model but holy shit I love that neck. MIJ 7 string s series are the shit, only drawback is the low trs, but it seems like you've taken care of that as well
