I believe they're getting in stock around the beginning of November, so there's technically not long to wait.

I ordered my EC407 BLKS on 9-24, and the manager of my G.C. (Guitar Center) has told me that ESP gave them a ship date from California on 11/22. However, ESP told me that they were getting ready to ship these out either last week or this week, so it'll be any day now.

If you want one, get your order in and be one of the first to snag one of the new models. I know that for my EC407, I'm at least one of the first 50 being shipped out, and so far it's the ONLY ONE being ordered by a Guitar Center in the US (so far...)... PSYCHED!!!

Licensed will do for me. I already know and like Ibanez 7's, but LTD seriously needs to take that EC-407 and make it into an EC-407FR. You know, because I personally want one.

I don't think LTD have, either(I could be wrong). Taking that into account, I figured he just meant any locking trems. In which case, Ibanez slaps them on almost all of their guitars. ....ers.

Depending on which one your looking at... I know the EC407's are going for $749 (...though I paid that price WITH sales tax - $699 Guitar Center charged me...). So I'd roughly guess that the V & EX 7's are probably gonna be close to the same or maybe a little bit cheaper - 300 Series vs. 400 Series...

Like I was saying, the dates are still tentative... it may be sooner, it may be later. GC and thier ESP rep have a ship date of the 22nd of November, but ESP themselves said either last week or this week for shipping them out... I'm itching like a mother ....er for my EC407 to get here already, the GAS is killing me!!!

Well, just made another payment on my EC407, and am down to the last $200 for it. And GC still has a ship date of 11/22 for these... I wish the ....ing thing would get here already, I can't stand the GAS for both this AND the SSO Custom Shop Blackouts as well...

I'm interested on the EC407 too, I haven't tried an ltd 7 before, music shops in my place don't sell them. What's the neck like?

Depends on the model. If the thin-u is anything like the thin-u on my MH-307 it'll be middle of the road Les Paul like. Thinner than the 07 Hellraiser I had, meatier than an Ibanez Wizard 7.

Almost certainly one of them, although I remember playing an EC-256 that was made in Vietnam. That one actually played really well.
