...oh and bigger frets....?

Dude....
I know what ya mean ,for the price I paid on my 307 I cant complain but I would def. prefer one of those KXK super strats, with a neck p/u, lo pro, ebony, and bigger frets, I love the apparent Cooley style lower horn(not thickness wise)

Such pain, I must help...deepen it

As far as overall shape, it's perfect except for the headstock, which is a bit too B.C. Rich looking for my tastes. But the 4+3 should look better. And with the options of a neck pickup, it'd be an awesome guitar. He nailed the RG look, that's for sure.

The main sexing point for me is excellent fret-access due to necky-thruness and obviously blank boards are win too.

Wow, it turned out great. I bet he gets some attention at NAMM with that thing hanging on the wall.

BTW, to answer a couple of questions before Noodles get to 'em:

1. It's a prototype, so it's not an 'official' model yet, and thus not featured on the KxK site.

2. Noodles doesn't own it, though I believe he will be reviewing it. KxK built it to show at NAMM and such in anticipation of making it a regular model. Maybe Noodles will correct me, but I believe he has another V in the works, with a Floyd?

3. Since KxK makes custom guitars, you could get this one with the pickups, controls and finish of your choice, though some choices would undoubtedly add some $$ to the bottom line.

I keep going back and forth on this one, though I'm not really in a position to buy right now. I'd have to have an angled neck (which the prototype does not have), and that would undoubtedly add some serious $$$ to the final price. We'll see...the ability to put a deposit down with time to save up the rest of the purchase price makes it even more tempting...

Man, you people complain on things that it doesn't have and how you wouldn't buy it cause its not like your want it, this isn't ibanez, its a custom shop! if you don't want to get one like that you don't have to! just ask Rob to make one like you want it. geez, people couln't be more idiotic, furthermore i highly doubt the vast majority of those complaining would get around to saving the cash and getting a serious instrument like a KXK, so stick to $400 mass produced garbage and take what you're given by the big companies and quit bitching!

Whoa, settle down scooter. No one's complaining, and everyone is fully aware it's a custom shop and thus available with options. Calling people idiotic is a hair unnecessary.

Go have some hot herbal tea and a scone, sit down and relax!
