Nobody has ever been able to convince me that Caparisons are worth the price they go for. They're basically Ibanez clones with a different headstock and a $1000 mark-up for being the choice of \Melo-Deth/ Sure they're nice but aren't the 7's over 2 grand? Aren't they also bolt-on/rosewood. If so why not buy a 1527?

I believe that Caparisons are made by the same company (Fuji Gen Gakki) that manufactures the Japanese Ibanezes and used to make the Japanese Jacksons (back when they were marketed as "Grover Jacksons"). They're cool designs, but I've never read a single review of them indicating that they are worth the ungodly prices they sell for in the USA.

From what I understand they're more in line, price-wise, with the high-end Ibanezs in Europe. Which sorta explains all the euro bands playing them.

I wouldn't mind one of those Dillenger 7s, if it had neck binding and cost under $1k.
