NGD, cheap and dusty.

We're recording our demo, and the "producer"(Ralph of Disparaged

) sold me this dusty thing for a good price.

Intonation was almost perfect, just had to adjust the low B-string a little bit.
The RG7321 neck is a little bit too thick for my taste.
It has a few dings an scratches, nothing big though.

Just needed a few tools to let it shine!

Here we go with polished guitar!
ZING!!!

I really dig the sound of the neck-pickup

but the bridge-pickup.. well not so great.

If any body has some suggestions for some modifications let me know!

Nice, I got one of these for my first 7 the other week and I love it... but I really do recommend swapping out the pickups

locking tuners will also make a big difference, but other than that they're great guitars for the price ^^

I put in SD Blackouts into my 7321 and it kicks serious ass now...crushing tone!

Yeah that would be a good idea, I've to evaluate how much money I want to spend on the pups.
An other modification I thought about was to shape it in a RGD way, saw this thread yesterday in which exactly that happens.

I just realized that my Xiphos has the same neck measures and I always loved the neck, I guess it has been too long I had an 7 string in my hand, getting used to again?

But you're right, it is thin enough.

btw I also use fast fret, I dunno what's wrong with it either.
I just use it to clean the strings after playing, that's all.

Uh, OP, I think one of your pickups might not be stock. Check out the ears - one is bronze, the other is black.
Might be just my eyes playin' tricks, tho.

Those are damn workhorse guitars!

besides pickups and locking tuners, you can buy better saddles for it I think.

Cool, I just ordered one of those. I was thinking about dying the fretboard. Maybe complete rewire and pots/selector and new pickups (D-Activator 7's?) Any others ideas for modding?

I think I want some DiMarzios in this guitar, not D-activators though, already have them in my Xiphos.
