I'm very overdue (ONGD)

Hey, Everybody

I was supposed to make this thread a long time ago, but I didn't have any really good pics of this guitar so I waited, waited, and waited some more.

Anyway, now I have some decent photos, there's actually several I need to put up but this one for now, I'm sure most of you will enjoy.

This Universe when bought (see pictures below) was messed up (except the neck, tuners).

Anyway, not the guy who sold it but the person who owned before or whoever.

They had did the following: Put a Les Paul pickup switch under the pickguard, painted the pickguard, erased Universe off the head stock, green pickups removed, single pickup removed, and I whoever did the body damage (doesn't bother me).

So anyway, my father bought this for me and fixed it up.
Put Green Evolutions and a Blaze in the middle, new pickguard, new Universe sticker, and set up.

I just want to thank my father and my heavenly Father for blessing me with my Dad.

To be quite honest I don't know the intenions behind that.

All I know is the guy we bough it from, he bought the Universe for about 300$ and he was going to fix it up and he never got around to it.

I was very blessed to get this guitar, this actually is my favorite Universe and I thought I'd never get one.

It has taken a while to get ready, but it's been great!

We had a hard time adjusting the action from not buzzing in certain areas on the fretboard.

Is that a common thing to fix with old Universes (if anybody knows)?

It says "I dedicate this guitar to my Father in heaven. Creator of the world! To God be the Glory!!!"

The sticker (green and yellow heart) on the back of my guitar is a memory of my friend who commited suicide last year. If anyone was wondering. He was a big Green Bay Packers fan (they actually won the superbowl too). Unfortunately, he wasn't hear to see it though, he always pulled for them though.
