"N"GD, Ibanez RG1577 content... wait, what?

Yes! I finally have my modded RG1527 back! Waited for her for 3 weeks after sending it to the luthier! (several problems happened in between from both sides, that's why it took so long :P) As I said in various threads and as I posted on another topic before, I wanted to put new pickups in my guitar and wanted a single coil, so I have a new pickup day + a new modded guitar day = new RG1577 day!!

I can't make such a thread without pics, so here it is!

before pic

after pics!

This picture shows how I can't be more happy with her!

this really feels like a new guitar! definetly a good invertion

Looks sick dude. Just confirmed to me how good white pickups look in these guitars.

Thanks for the positive comments! I still can't believe how good it sounds. Sadly, I don't have too much time right now, but I'll try to record a clip asap to show how it sounds in comparisson to the old ibanez pickups it had

It's a Blaze Middle. The guitar is fully loaded with DiMarzio pickups (Blaze Neck, Blaze Middle and Blaze Custom)

The blaze neck has a really defined sound. Lower notes are very clear sounding. In combination with the blaze middle it gives a VERY vintage guitar sound. Loved that.

Blaze Custom is a deadly weapon. Harmonics do sound WAY better and with much more presence than before (when I had it with the Ibanez V pickups). Notes sound more aggressive and clearer.

A friend of mine also changed his RG1527 pickups (but he didn't added a single coil). Sadly, I didn't try too much the neck pickup (Air Norton 7), but the Blaze Bridge has a more crunchy sound, with out being as powerful as the Custom (Not saying it is a vintage sounding pickup, but the blaze custom is LOUD).

Hope that my little "review" is helpful
