Jeff Loomis sig Model

I've been waiting for this for a while now (hoping it will have an OFR on it)
but I also wonder, are the Hellraisers Jeff is currently playing just stock hellraisers?
Or are the necks on his shaved at all , have different nut widths, etc.
does anyone actually know????
I'm really liking my Hellraiser but if Schecter releases one with an OFR on it I would jump right on it.

There's been a LOT of speculation, but the fact Loomis splits playtime pretty evenly between a stock black Hellraiser and a stock black Hellraiser routed for an OFR certainly muddies the waters.

Even if he continues to go back and forth, I think they should just suck it up and release a OFR-equipped Hellraiser as a Loomis sig model. They don't currently offer one, and a Hellraiser is a fairly kickass lead guitar even without the Floyd.

I think Schecter could pwn Ibanez if it released a Hellraiser with an OFR in the same price range as the C-7/Hellraisers

...after all, Ibanez' big pull is the trem option, alongside the necks :P

I would really love to see that. Shecter needs to do some more floyds, not just on 7's either!!

That would be the Schecter I own then.. It's the only reason I have not bought one..

We opened for Nevermore a few months back. Jeff had one stock Hellraiser, and one that looks like the OFR-7 was added by the USA shop or his guitar tech. You could still see the string ferrels on the back. It pays to get to know the usual guitar techs that roll through with the club level metal acts.

It was added by the USA shop, IIRC, before they shipped it to him.
