Esp ltd sc-607b
My local shop doesn't sell these so wondering what they're like, i've never owned an ltd before, and am very interested in the sc-607b.
Im after a 7 with emgs, and i also like the fixed bridge. My main concern is the neck thickness, i've hear'd people say they're thick. I have a k7 which has a great neck, and wouldn't want a neck much thicker. |

definately a fatter neck (still, i didnt find it harder to play after only playing mainly ibby's), but im sure you'll adjust nicely, the pups are killer, overall its an awesome 7.

cool,
have you got the 27 inch neck model? if so did you also find that easy. I would probably change the neck pickup to a 707 though, or do the 2 81's suit it |

It takes a small amount of time to get used to the different neck dimensions. Remember this has a 27" scale as well, you are used to ibbys with a 25.5 (yes, you can tell the difference!).
It's a killer guitar, really it is. It plays beautifully and sounds HUGE.

I don't have small hands, but when i owned a 28 inch neck baritone, i found it too long, but this is an inch less which is alot, so should be ok. I like the idea of a longer neck though, as i tune 1 step down.
As long as it's not really hard |

A 27" scale neck is approximately 1 fret longer than a 25.5" scale neck.

seems alot, but most people don't seem to find it a problem.
I wish i could try one, cos with the neck being longer and fatter it might not be to my liking. A shame the pickups r so close together, don't see the point myself. |

That's really true. I was an Ibanez guy since I started playing guitar, and I think I'm about to switch to Schecter or maybe ESP, lately my Ibbies have been cramping up my hand, so I've been playing my Schecter more. I just need to route it for an OFR7 or something. This really sucks because it was less than a year ago I splurged and bought myself the RG7CT. I could resell it, but I'm not going to get as much out of it probably
