![]() ![]() | The Arrival Well, my K7 came in this is my second 7 string first was an ESP Stef B7. I love this one so much better in every way. The neck is nice and flat easy to play fast on and the tone has a dark deep rich sound with really good sustain I love the mahogany body much better IMO than alder which the stef b7 has and I like a guitar that has some weight to it makes it feel more solid. I'm still waiting to get a 6505amp I'm sure this thing would dominate on it. Every note stands out nice and crisp...very clean sounding. Any owner's of a K7 here knows what I am talking about, this is one perfect axe, nice and solid feeling. I didn't think I would like the u bar but it's actually kind of neat. I've been switching from both the ubar and the standard arm which is very easy to change just pull the standard arm out and drop the other in. This is also my first time having a guitar with a tremolo. It's alot of fun hit a natural harmonic and bend it out. I love hitting the natural harmonics on like the 2nd fret from the top of the guitar on the 4th string holy shit those are high pitched and sing out big time. So thanks to the ones who suggested I get an Ibanez K7 it si exactly what I was looking for. Here are some pics, I need a better camera I could only get these few before it crapped out: |

![]() ![]() | The only complaint I have is it's somewhat of a bitch to setup when re-tuning. No big deal just takes extra work. I have question....I've got it tuned to Drop B since I'm learning some Unearth and also playing some Sevendust. The E and especially the A string from the top are kind of tight from tuning them up. It's something I can get used to I am just curious to know if this can screw up the neck. I also had to tighten up the tremolo so that it would sit flatter against the body before it was all the way down it came from the factory really loose. |
