Music123 Epiphone Gothic Les Paul 7 for $499!?!?!

OK, so I was seriously thinking about getting the Epiphone Gothic Les Paul that Music123 carries because I miss my Les Paul 6 string. Also, the price tag of $299 seemed great. Well, it seems that is a thing of the past now. I went to Music123 a moment ago to find that the price has jumped up to $499!?!?! Ummm...huh? It honestly does not seem that intriguing to me anymore.

I just noticed that too. Hopefully it's a mistake cause I could probably get a better guitar for $499.

edit: it might be a mistake. When I searched for 7 strings, the guitar still lists for $299 but when I go to it's own page, it's $499.

Ya, I am not sure if it is a mistake or not. When you click the "Add to Cart" button on the 7 string search page (where it reads $299), it displays in the cart for $499. Also, the list price for it is now more on it's own page. $499 just does not seem worth it to me anymore. Like you said, you can find something better for that price. Hell, you can get a Schecter Blackjack for only $100 more!

Maybe the original $499 list $299 sell price was a mistake. I noticed that the list price also jumped to $699. Maybe somebody accidentally entered the "sell" price in the "list" column and the discount was calculated automatically.

From the reviews, it's probably still a good guitar for the money, it's just not the steal it was at $299.

But the price should DEFINITELY be the same on the listing page and the product detail/shopping cart.
