The new J-Custom 7s!!!

I for one thought that Ibanez were dropping the J-Custom 7s... but my weekly look at Ikebe-gakki.com proved me wonderfully wrong

Check out these bad boys:

RG8327-BBK

Had only this thing been fitted with ANY non-EMG pickup it would already be in the mail...

RG8427-BX

I'm not a fan of the vines/tree of life stuff... but it does look mighty nice.

P.s.: I don't think the 8327 is bland, the textured finish is mighty cool IMHO.

P.p.s.: How on earth can Ikebe keep pushing the HRG4 at 63.000JPY more than the 8427... they are completely identical... save for the fact that the 8427 has been upgraded with titanium bars and neck binding - I don't get it!!!

Usually with Ibanez' 7-string model #s, the 2nd digit indicates what country it's made in. 2 = China, 3 = Korea, 4,etc= Japan.

Example, RG7321 = Korea. RG7421 = Japan. AX7521 = Japan. AX7221 = China. Etc.

I could be wrong, but given how many "Prestige" Ibanez guitars made in Korea, you just never know

Given the price of that guitar and that its a "J Custom", it probably is made in japan. Their model #s are making less and less sense these days in that case.
