Bareknuckle pickups

Hey, thought I should point out that Bareknuckle Pickups in the UK make their pickups in 7-string versions too. I've been discussing an 8-string custom pickup with Tim and he's willing to make one for me! Check 'em out!

Ive heard plenty of good things about these p'ups, but internet hear say sadly isnt enough for me to try em.

Tell em to get some good distro for us yanks!

I know what you mean about internet hear say, lol. Having communicated with Tim a fair bit now, I really think he knows his stuff. He's also the only 'little guy' I know of who does custom work, whose native language is English, and who already makes 'metal' pickups. Everyone else seems to specialize in 'vintage', which doesn't interest me at all.

Do they make 7-string versions of all their pickups? Like, single-coils and P-90's too? Because if so, I'm going to need a lot of money, and fast

Each to their own lol

Just talked to a very reliable source/customer who is back in town (he lives in Italy these days). This dude is very fussy, has all the gear and knows his stuff. He's a recent Bareknuckle convert, tell's me they absolutely crap on every other pickup he's tried, and that's a lot of pickups.

I keep hearing stories like this, but once again, Ive heard that about every aftermarket p'up there is.

Aye tis true. I actually trust this guy, which in itself is weird, coz I don't normally believe a thing until I've tried it for myself. That gives you no reason to trust me however...

I've heard time and time again that you can hear no audible difference between a Bareknuckle Warpig and an EMG 81. I might give em a whirl someday.
