Petar has a spectacular aura about
Cheap 7 strings, less famous brands..?

Any help on this..?
I hope there is some guitar manufacturer, like Raven West guitars..who makes nice..and seems like nice quality instruments..but for not so much money..but they don't do 7 strings..
Any help on this..?
I need something thats not expensive, guess with trem..but, evilbay is not an option..it is too expensive from here..and i am sceptical toward buying used instruments unseen..
Thank you very much!

Hmm 'Agile' make very reasonably priced 7's, a few people on here have bought them, they will be in a better position to comment than me!

I've got a Shine 7. Very happy with it, and it didn't break the bank.

Distribution for them seems to be building, too, so it shouldn't be as rare to see one as it was when I got mine...

Conklin's Groove Tools hold up to the test of inexpensive yet badass. They compare to a hardtail RG1527, IMO. The quality might even be a bit better.

They have the best no-name stock pickups i've ever used. i'd like to replace them with some cool dimarzio's i've been wanting to try but i dont really feel the need to. the fretboard is flat feeling, and the neck itself feels like a New Universe neck profilewise. the wood its made of is bright sounding, and i can get artificial harmonics anywhere, on either pickup without even trying... \m/

Plus its got the 3 way switch/coil tap setup like the Satch guitars.

The stock pickups in them are called Mighty Mite, I found out from Bill Conklin in an email. Body wood is cherrywood. Very sweet guitars, I've played them before and if I didnt buy Zimbloth's H207 I would be searching hardcore for one.

I sorta want a red trem-equipped one.

Also worth a nod in the $400 range is, of course, a used Ibanez RG7620. Honestly, bang for buck, a 7620 may be the best trem-equipped deal on the market in a 6 OR a 7 string.

7421 can be had around 200-300 dollars, much better guitar than the 7321.

Speaking of the devil, here's a mislabeled guitar, it's a RG7621, very awesome playing guitar, look how cheap it sold.

well there are bigger shits than that... but we in Eastern Europe are in a "lost position"
1. We can buy like you say - shit - for a big price - and we can be sure we will not be ripped....
2.We can buy on ebay a great guitar for a good price - but then
a.We can get the guitar and be happy we spent money on a great axe
b.We can be cheated - we dont get the guitar, we dont get the money back
c.we can get a great guitar - but totally smashed by the post ...
3. etc.

Americans get the best - You pay for shipping not so much, + the biggest "USA RULES" is that you can find a good paid job - which i in poland cant... and i think i will never find
(moves to the USA in the future .. )
OK enough of this complaining..

7's Rule ...

Another option is the Epiphone Les Paul Gothic 7 & the Washburn WG587. Both available at www.music123.com

Do they still make these, or do you have to buy them used?

And if they still make them, where can you buy them? I can't find anything on-line

I emailed Bill Conklin about two months ago. He said he didnt know exactly, but they were some sort of Duncan Designed.

TMAC7 is on a distinguished road
Just save up for an Ibanez RG7321 - it's about $370 street price, but it's totally worth it. It was my first 7 string.
