NGD/NPD-epicness looms within this thread

Hello Fellow SS.orgers,
======impending cliche picstory======
Today has been a fantastic day for me. School went great and came home to be mildly disappointed when I didn't see a package for me. I unlocked the door, stepped inside turned on the light and BAM there it was. SSSSSOOOOO in regular fashion, I piced it up

Initial enjoyment of a giant package.

Onto the operating table.

Fender package? waaaasssthat?

SUPER heavy freakin duty packaging stuff. Not playing.

Latch one, anyone recognize that case?

Latch number dos, how bout nao?

FINAAALLLEEEEEE~

Saaayyyy what now?

JK, heres my new prize! Schecter LoomisFR!

And, to wrap up the pics, here's a couple I took outside including some of the whole family.

Thats it for pictures! Now time for some words.
So, I got this guitar for an absolute steal from fellow forumite Adam Of Angels, who is a killer guy. Seriously quite possibly the best online person I've ever dealt with. I feel like a just mugged him and took it from him, but the man's got GAS so, I helped his medical case by taking this off his hands.

The guitar itself is everything I love. The neck is definitely the high point. Ive got skeletal hands (my friends/bandmates have dubbed me Jake Skellington) The neck is the perfect width and thickness, I automatically noticed an improvement in my playing when I picked this up, it's SO much easier for me to move around. The trem is exactly what I was looking for, it holds tune even under my crazy wanking antics. Flutters like a charm. Great quality, I do wish it wasnt a matte finish only because those wear down so fast, feels nice regardless. Honestly, the wood of this thing is absolutely stunning. Im not generally an ash man, I'm more a quilted maple guy, but this guitar is just beautiful. I actually love the colors and I'm not a red guy either. The weight is not an issue like i was expecting. My RGT6EXFX is definitely heavier. I do wish it had passive pickup routes but I'm fine with the pickups. Might upgrade to blackouts or EMG 81-7X/707X. I am however going to add onto the trem. Bigger brass block, some titanium/stainless steel pieces, ETC.

Also, the NPD part.
Welllll...I just got a new puppy also!

That will be all, thank you for viewing guys.
Shred on,
Jacob

Bad ass puppy/Loomis, congrats man

Sweet Loomis foreshadowing with the title, too, I thought that's what it was

I concur, especially the floyd model (im a floyd man, TOM's rub me the wrong way literally, picking technique I suppose) is just perfect for me.''

I think maple boards are great cause the tone is in-between rosewood and ebony, and as a general rule, maple is eyepleasing
