Cheers man, I bought it from Epic Guitars, they're a BRJ distributor located in NSW. I initially wanted to order a custom from them, but they had this in stock, and offered it to me for a sweet price, and it's basically the same as what I would have ordered anyway, minus little things like binding, colour, and all those little superficial nuances.

They're great guys to deal with hey, really friendly, really top blokes. They were quite tolerant of my anxious badgering about this guitar, lol.

And yeah, JB, the quilt top is beautiful. My terrible camera-phone photos didn't do it justice at all, it looks like a rippling sea of honey.

Very cool, man, very cool. I love the finish. For those keeping track, this isn't helping my anticipation of my custom!

gorgeous!
congrats, I went back and forth between Bernies "natrual" finish and theTrans Blood red that I ended up going with.
If I get another Rico it will have this finish with a maple fret board.
what do you think of the 20" fret board radius?

Very, very close to the specs I would choose - is good!

While raping a bear in Yellowstone and snorting coke out of a freshly-dead baby's skull, I finally felt that I had found my calling and built a time machine out of Iraqi WMDs and LOTS OF HEMP WHOA. Using this time machine I went back in time and shot JFK from outer ....ing space. I am now your god - Jeff
.....and then all of a sudden he drops the musical equivilant of a steaming turd right in our laps - ESP Griffyn

I swear I've just seen it online, the pics I've seen were HQ and it was the best quilt I've ever seen on a Rico. Congratz man!

What about so much difference between the wings' color and neck color, since they're both mahogany? Not the first time I see it, Nolly's one too.

BRJ seems to consistently deliver when it comes to making simple .... look good, which is all the more impressive since it seems like he's working more towards "mass" producing than many other shops that do work that good

Awesome guitar dude!
I'm pretty sure it's the sister guitar to mine, they're identically built and the tops look to be from the same billet.
