EDIT:Reread it a few times, now I think I understand it.
Anyway, I think sparkle finishes are ....ing metal. ![]() Ever seen a sparkle purple finish guitar? That's one of the most metal of them all! |

Even the 6 string chamelion counterparts look nice in person. The Xiphos 7 only comes in BC finnish. http://www.cracked.com/article_15231_7-reasons-21st-century-making-you-miserable.html http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-harsh-...better-person/ http://www.cracked.com/article_18817_5-reasons-future-will-be-ruled-by-b.s..html http://www.cracked.com/article_15663_10-things-christians-atheists-can-must-agree-on.html http://www.cracked.com/article_14990...keysphere.html http://www.cracked.com/article_19468...you-think.html |

^That one is modified. Not only the killswitch, but every Xiphos 7 has a hardtail as well.
As an Xiphos 7 owner myself, i can assure you that it only sparkles slightly under direct sunlight. Most of the time it is dark gray, and while highlighted it jumps between green and red depending on how you turn it. I just have to add that the neck is extremely comfortable for fast playing. Neck-thru, 19mm thick at first fret and 21mm at the 12th. The radius is 400mm. |

The Xiphos 7 only comes in gray chameleon. However I can honestly say having owned one that there is no way to capture the true characteristics of the finish in a photo.
Cheers, Frey. |

Quote:
The color is more greenish than grey irl. And it does not change color like the red/green 6 string. The sparkle is subtle. |

In person, that finish mostly looks black anyway. Unless you are standing outside in the sun with it. Which may or may not be metal...

Never said the Xiphos was the ultimate metal axe. Just that it is unmistakably a metal axe.Never was that fond of the stealth shape. I've seen a lot and the shape varies a lot even between the old handmades. Even more so with the imports. That is really a bc rich thing. There is littlle consistency in keeping the designs right. The Rizzo seems a very good one.
Did you move the strap pins for better balance? To ME the ironbird is the ultimate metal shape. The mark-I shape that is. Not the Class-axe redesigned one.
