Carvin DC727 vs. Schecter C7 Blackjack Necks

I'm thinking of getting a Schecter C7 Blackjack and wanted to know how it's neck compares to the Carvin DC727 neck? I know that it is an inch longer in scale, but is it much thicker?? Thanks!

IIRC, the blackjack is 25.5" - it's the hellraiser that's 26.5"

The Schecter website states that the Blackjack is 26.5" scale...
("CONSTRUCTION/SCALE: Set-neck w/ Ultra Access / 26.5” ")

The only 25.5" 7 that Schecter sells atm is the 007 Elite.

I've owned both and the Blackjack has a much thicker neck than the Carvin. They're both nice guitars, though, so it comes down to personal preference. I prefer the Carvin due to the neck shape, shorter scale, ebony fretboard, better high-fret access, and the overall brighter sound.

Yeah, i prefer the feel of a Carvin. It's the most comfy guitar i've ever played in my life-sitting down or standing up. It just fits so amazing.

I love the neck, it's not too thick and not too thin. Going from the UV to the Carvin isn't really a big deal because the neck is just so comfortable.

I also love the feel of the Carvin's neck. Do you think I'd have a problem going between the Carvin and Schecter? Basically, I'm looking to get an extended scale guitar to handle lower tunings (full step down)...

I don't think it would be too difficult to use both. If you were accustomed to the really thin neck on an Ibanez, it might be more of a problem. I had more of a problem with the greater string tension on the Blackjack due to the scale length than I did with the neck profile. But I'm a bit unusual that way because I like comparatively loose strings in order to prevent a recurrence of carpal tunnel syndrome.
