I've just tested and older C7 with duncan designed and an some Ibanez se7en.

The Ibanez felt like the jackson I have but I couldn't belive how thick a schecter neck is.

Anyway, I made my decision and I'm getting a C7 HR in black. How am I gonna do it (since I live in Brazl)? Too long to tell... Anyway it'll probably be here in one month or so and I just can't wait to shred that sexy thing endlessly and again and again.

Personally, I have huge hands and I find Schecters to be very uncomfortable, well, at least the Omen-7 I tried. I've been wanting to try the 26.5" ones, maybe they will feel better to me. Ibanezes and ESPs (and the Dean Avalanche 7s) feel great to me.

Welcome to the forum. I like Ibanez guitars because the necks are slim, sleek and they feel better to me. There are alot of beautiful Schecter 7-strings but every one that i've played, the neck felt a little too thick for my tastes....but, I do own a Schecter C-1 Elite 6-string and the neck on that feels just right.

Anyway, I would say the only way a guy with small hands is gonna have trouble with a 7 is if he's wearing it too low. Apart from Nuno, I can't think of many awesome guitarists with small hands that DON'T wear their guitars high (Romeo, Lane, etc.) With huge fingered freaks like Gilbert and Vai it's a different story. As someone else said, I wear my guitar high enough to be able to do the whole 1-3-5 or 9-12-15 on every string, because I can only do that if my hand and wrist are at a comfortable playing angle for me.

It depends on what you play though, I'm sure I could wear my guitar low and play some Korn or Fear Factory no problem, but Nevermore (for example).... no way, lol.

If my memory serves, the older Schecters necks were a bit thicker and more uncomfortable than they are now on their newer 7-strings (like the Hellraiser).
