N.G.D.D. (new green dot day) 56wtf

well after 20 years of waiting, its finally mine. i have answered the GREEN DOT MADNESS i woke up saturday at 4pm. went to work from 6pm-630am. went home and made a pot of coffee to take with me. hit the road at 7am. picked up a buddy and went to sandusky ohio! thats a 4and a half hour drive. waited on the gentleman (to be disclosed in a minute) for about an hour to meet me right outside of cedar point amusement park. then drove 4 and a half hours back. got to bed at about 11pm.31 hours with no sleep makes jym a stranger boy lol.

FIRST OFF i would like to pour my extreme gratitiude to KEN ....ING SORCERON for selling me this, yes i said KEN ....ING SORCERON
www.myspace.com/abigailwilliams

www.myspace.com/abortedmetal

www.myspace.com/brojovi

if you didnt know, he is the singer/guitarist for abigail williams, and the guitarist for aborted, and the guitarist for bro jovi

he is one of the nicest guys i have ever met. when i originally asked him about the guitar he was 3 days away from leaving to europe and israel for some aborted shows. he agreed to hold the guitar for me until he got back. he kept in great communication/contact with me while doing these shows! we scheduled the deal while he was in israel, and true to his ....ing word met up when he got back! sooooo on to some ....ing pictures!!

the trusty steed

on the way from cinci to dayton to pick up my buddy pat that i havent ....ing seen in 4 years

we had a couple other pictures of the herbal celebrations we enjoyed but this is an all ages site

is that cedar point in the background? we are almost there!

we waited at a mcdonlads that was next to a cool marina

got the guitar and on the drive back spotted this pretty cool train yard

we saw alot of weird little xxx video shops on the way the featured "trucker tuesdays" but we didnt stop and where also to herbally celebrated to take pics

so here it is

looks like there is something on the headstock in this pic

oh that its just STEVE VAI'S ....ing autograph

Sick score!

But one thing I noticed in about 95% of used guitars is that they never have the tremolo cavity cover !

At last you'll stop trying to nick my UV7. Congrats, bro!

You can see the year via its serial number, BTW.

There really is no good way to determine what year these "neck-plate-numbered" Ibbys are from.

You pretty much have to look at the little things and ball park it.

In 1990 half the UV's got the Edge 7, opposed to the Lo-Pro Edge 7, so it's not a really early example. Then, you have the middle Blaze single coil. In late 91'/early 92' they switched the pole pieces from silver slug style, to the black hex screw style. Then there's the neck plate, those with 200,000+ numbers were later models.

If I had to guess I'd say that your Green Dot is from 96' based on the small details mentioned.

Not UV's, or most JEMs for that matter. My 97' Silver Dot has block-heel as well. In fact the only UV to get the AANJ was the 98' and forward UV777PBK.

Hi, I'm Fred, and I have Alzheimer's...

Must be confusing that axe with something else. Since there weren't many 7's around by then, I could even look for them, but I really cba to chase after something I tried alongside a '96 UV7 when I was 20.

BTW - Jym, you got your wish. It is only fair I get mine as well. Send the S over nao, biatch!

I don't think it's nice, you laughing. You see, my mule don't like people laughing. Gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it...
