Well guys I am finally going to get my first 7 in about a month. I have been looking at them for years and have finally chosen one.

I think I will get the Jackson COW. It looks like a good quality/ good priced 7. I like the frets, and the multi-radius ebony fretboard.

I am just unsure of the EMG. I have never had any time with them. How is the clean tone of the EMG-707? I plan on getting another one installed in the neck position once I get the guitar.

I would just like some opinions from someone who has a COW.

Zimbloth owns a COW and loves it, I'm sure he'll give you some insight on it. the EMG's are great for High Gain playing but when it comes to cleans they just sound too sterile for my taste.
