Talking LTD MF 207 questions

Hi, as u can see I'm new. My name is Paulina and I'm from Chile. (sorry for my no perfect english writing!!)

well let's get straight to the point:

I saw this guitar while surfing on the Inet, It has Basswood body and maple neck, Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, extra-jumbo frets, 2 EMG HZ humbuckers, I believe is bolt on neck and a cool design (like ESP Forest) but I'm pretty sure you already know this guitar, so the questions are:

Is this guitar a great / cool / average / poor / shitty 7 string guitar?
Would you like to share more info about this piece of wood?

thanks, that's all.

Welcome!!

It's pretty much an average guitar. Definetly not better than your 1527 I would say.

First off, welcome to the board

I have one of these guitars. I bought it off of one of ss.org's moderators, Shannon.

I think it's a pretty good guitar. Plays fine, but to be honest, it doesn't play as good as my Ibanez RG7's, but for looks, it's a great stage guitar! I love the body shape, and as soon as I get around to fixing up my RR7 and make that my stage 7-string, I'ma take the MF-207 and get the body Rhino Linered. It's gonna look uber-metal after that. (Then I'll prolly get the frets re-crowned)

Oh shit... wait, where are my manners? You've listed a 1527 as your main 7...

Wow, a female 7 stringer.

Anyway, if the neck on it is anything like the H-207 I've played, than it won't be better than the RG1527. It looks cool though.

thanks for the good receiving.

so I can read that the guitar is like average... it has any opportunity to be modified? like changing the circuit, or anything.. the EMGhz are not EMG707 but I believe they would make a good job.

ps: the forum doesn't allow me to put web links!

You can upgrade it I guess with new wiring, and you can easily put an EMG 707 in it, as they have the same routing size.

I can tell you that the Schecter Damien 7 sounds great with the HZs in it.
