Smile NGD - another Ibanez 7 :RAWK:

I actually got this already about one month ago, but it came with a little ding in the finish, it was really tiny, but I am so anal, I had to have it exchanged, so they had to order a new one for me which took 4 weeks, but I finally got it today:

You paid for a brand new guitar that was undamaged, that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Yes it's one of the new models for 2010 for Europe, and I think also Japan.
I think it's weird they don't offer the same models for everywhere

Thanks, you are right, but let me tell you this ding I'm talking about was really tiny, it wasl ike a tiny little white line on the black finish. You could only see it from very close. It would not have bothered most people, and I tihnk most people would not even have noticed it, but I can't help it, I'm so super anal like this, and it did bother me.

Looks classy, mate. I'm not too thrilled by black superstrats, but that's irrelevant - enjoy your NGD!

it needs one of the necks from the 1527M.

how much are those running for now? If they're close to the price of an RGD2127, i think id go with the 2127 jsut to get a little more bang for your buck

Looking for an Ibanez RG970XL

So that there is no confusion regarding some sort of hate towards black superstrats from me, it's quite the opposite - I own some 10 of of them, 3 of which are 7 strings, hence me liking to see other colors. :P

What model is the 2127?

Over here this RG1527Z is about 900 Euro. The dealer got me a good price since I ordered two guitars at once, this one and a 2nd RG1527M. And he also added an Ibanez prestige jacket, a t-Shirt and 2 pick sets to the package

To be honest, I still have to try this new trem, haven't used it at all yet. From what the say about it it is supposed to have 2 modes: a basic floating mode, and a more 'fixed trem' kind of mode (thisa is achieved by 2 extrap springs that can be removed), so the guitar will stay in tune even if a stirng breaks and double stop bends are supposed to be easier, too.
But I still have to try that.

Maybe I should give that a try, but I dunno if I dare to unscrew the neck

Yep, I think, both would look great that way!
Then I'd also have to add a pickguard to both (a white one for the black guitar and a black one for the hwite guitar). Now THAT would be super awesome!
