well obviously. He doesnt realize abstract art is a crock either. but i didnt say anything ;p

I e-mailed him to see what the reserve was. The other auction ends earlier than this one, so depending on what happens, I might get this one if the dude's reasonable. I'll tell him flat out that the finish means nothing to me, and I won't consider it as part of the value.

I'd have better lucking letting my 3 year old nephew piss on it next to a fan, then clear coating it.

Finally got a look at that - too bad, the silvery color on the back is quite nice.

It's the same model Jim Soloway had; the one I do believe made him a believer in extended scale 7's.

Knew it lol. What a tool. I can think of a few ways to upgrade it myself. Did you tell him the finish meant nothing?>

She said most people don't realize it's art. Yup. That'd be everyone in the world except 2 people; her and the artist.

She's gotta realize that having a relatively obscure niche market guitar painted (horribly) on only one side, but leaving the rest untouched is not worth shit.

If the guitar was commissioned by Ibanez as a limited addition piece, that'd be different.

Hence the DNA's, Donnies, etc.
