QuickStop (I Need A Patent) Bridge Block!

Since we last spoke about tremsetters and other forms of blocking a floating bridge, I have been thinking...well it took me long enough to do this, actually it took that long for me to get up and go to the hardware store and buy some wood screws. So here you go, total cost of the project...5.99(I probably could have done it for less but I had to buy a box of 100 screws) This system works great and it only took a couple of minutes to install.

The screws I used had that built in washer for more stopping power!

Nice work.... I bought a TS years ago..installe it then unistalled it right after. Which reminds me... I want to put it up in ebay.

Interesting... an adjustable dive-only system?

My only concern would be what would happen if you weren't thinking and yanked back - those suckers might go flying.

2" screws...mmmm, perhaps, but I honestly never pulled up on the whammy even when she was a floater...it's mainly to aid in the stabilization of tuning. Dang, that would have been a good title for this post...Dive Only

Good news, I just put her to a test and man does it ever stay in tune...wow, I'm happy, now I need to buy an Ibanez(S series) and put one of these on it

after looking at the first picture for a bit... You know what would be a good idea? getting a solid piece of wood and then screwing that in there, so there's more of a shelf for the bridge thing to rest against.
