I really love it, took me forever to sand it tho

holy shit the 7620 has a veneer cap on both sides, i woulda never guessed... thats just like my RR5 in that respect...

That's really odd... i know they put a basswood veneer on the top and back of the alder JEMs to prevent the finish from sinking into the grain, but that may be the first time i've seen a veneer on a solid basswood RG.
