Yeah!!!! Im getin a new 7!!!!!!!!

I just closed the deal on a 1998 Ibanez UV777BK!!!!! Im really happy about it cause its got the LO Pro not the Edge Pro.
Im gonna mod it though.

Heres what Im a gonna do..........

New Pickguard with no middle single-coil pickup and no tone and the toggle cut for a 3 way EBMM JP position, Ill be buying a JP toggle from EBMM tomarrow. Then a "possible" pickup change to maybe an EMG 81-7 and a EMG 707 that I do have sitting around. Then Ill dye the fretboard jet black (except the inlays) And install Schallers Black locking tuners (for faster string changes, as I have VERY acidic sweat and I kill a set of strings in a week and a half!) And of course a Tremel-No!!!!

What do you guys think?

That sounds pretty close to the mods I'm doing currently to the UV777bk that I got from Elysian : stained f/b, new flat black p/g with no mid Pup, tuner buttons and washers changed to black, two volumes -no tone with special chrome strat knobs, black alloy Switchcraft 3-way toggle with chrome knob, CTS 500k pots, Tremol-no, and my pickups will be a D-Sonic 7 in the bridge - and just to try something a bit different - a Blaze Bridge in the neck position.
I hope to have this up and running in the next week or two.

You'll have to post some pics of yours when you get it done....
