*UPDATE ON NEWEST POST* Spinal Puppet is underrated! (POD, S2.0 Metal Foundry)
I was playing with what i could get out of random amps with the POD, and got this, it's a nice tight sound!

This mix actually sounds Pretty Good. The only thing I hear out of place is that Snare, It's too Muffled or something. (:

great stuff dude, you keep getting better and better, and i dug the tone big time...very crunchy and tight with a great amount of body to it! but i agree on the snare...i like the tone of it, but i'm guessing you need to cut some of the needless low end...or i have no idea how S2.0 works! it's almost like you've sidechained compressed the snare to where your mix ducks it, i've actually never heard a snare dip an entire mix...it's kinda cool actually!

Slam, I double compressed the snare, IE, I compressed it Inside S2.0 and In my DAW. I like how it ducks the mix a bit :P but i do need to work on my comp settings

The guitar sound is great, as good as any of the djenty stuff I've heard. \m/

Dude the mix is awesome!! Specially the drums man! if you throw a Trans on the snare track with the attack a bit high that'll fix the problem i think
you using the presets that come with Metal Foundry?

I used to use the Spinal Puppet all the time before I had the metalpack.
I used it to record the song "Simile" that is on the myspace in my signature. Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/xenophist |

someone's been listening to Tesseract!
Ever noticed how some people are real dicks on the internet, but when they post something involving their band, they make the effort to be nice? Funny that... |

i like the bomber uber (uberschalle) model and the treadplate dual (dual recto) model. they both sound thicker, more growly, and much less fizzy, than the big bottom model. of course, they don´t have the same voicing, but you can get the same type of sound with the boost+eq

So true! so true! So everyone, I added that Trans to the snare tracks and played with my mix, as well as adding some nice Acle-esque cleans. checker out!

I have a preset in POD FARM with a Dual Recto on one side and the Puppet on the other, delayed 20ms and it owns for a layered sound.
