I mean I know it's bright and not that warm (it is direct afterall), but I don't hear "witches screaming" on my end that's for sure Thanks for the input though man. Perhaps I'll post a version without the compression and you can tell me if you get the same thing.

EDIT: Do you hear the same thing in this sample?
Don't blame the gear! My soundcard is 24-bit/96kHz, through Sony MDR headphones and Edirol monitors. I have a pretty high-fidelity system, bro.

The songs themselves kick mucho ass. Just something was very, very strange with that guitar tone. The only thing I could think of is a sound like the wicked witch of the west screaming AHH HA HA... I know that sounds silly, but I'm being serious. A very weird, high-pitched, warbly kind of almost like screeching? sound. I've never heard anything like that, really, so it's hard to describe.

Maybe more people will have better feedback for ya!

You misunderstand. I've already stated it was my monitors NOT being good that was the problem. It sounds fine thru my monitors, and when I play it through computer speakers I hear what everyone is talking about. Thanks though. Hopefully I'll have this mixed and mastered at a studio with people who know what they're doing, and it'll sound good.

Wasn't talking about that, bro. Just addressing your point about my soundcard and stuff.

Yeah, that was my initial thought, sometimes you hear fucked up shit when you try to play 48khz stuff in programs or soundcards that cant handle it. I realized rather quickly it had nothing to do with that.

I wonder if I run the guitars through a cab sim if that'll fix the problem at all, such as those found in the Guitar Rig 2 program.

tehk is a jewel in the rough
Its a nice heavy tune that makes you want to make a mean, angry face and shake your head back and forth slowly, but at the same time with the song's tempo, and also grunt once in a while wherever you find appropriate.

Hahahaha sorry, I'm alittle gigglish because of that tone problem. Don't get me wrong, they're nice songs dude. Its such a horrid sound, but I can't stop listening to it! I hope you remaster it soon, because I can't wait to hear the final results .
