My New Project "Eat Dead People:" Song Posted w/vocals!! "death in a river"

alright dudes, so i have been working on this deathcore project called Eat Dead People which is most likely gonna be my new band. my boy Mike and I have been getting together every friday for the past couple of months, laying down riffs, and we have 7 tracks recorded thus far! yay! we found a vocalist finally, Jake, who is only 17, hahaha!...and this kid has the throat of an angry lumberjack!!! i took his lyrics and laid out some vocal patterns for him so he could throw down some tracks over our first song "Death In a River."

we recorded the vocals over at Mike's house in his makeshift studio he built in his garage! the room was perfect for the job and gave me a chance to use my "portable desktop vocal booth" i had built!

alright Brohammers!!! hopefully you enjoy this tune! i was going for a very dirty, raw and disgusting mix filled with hate, anger and intensity!!! there is still much more mixing to do once everything is finished, but i think it's good enough to share!!!

Maybe you guys could add an intro. I think it starts too fast and it would be awesome if you build up some tension before you go crazy with that double-bass-part

Hahahaha! dude, we have a minute long intro for this song actually, called "The Pasture." it's just gonna be a separate track though all together when we drop the full length!
...so i believe i can safely say great minds think alike...!?

Holy fuck dude, I was not previously aware of how loud my volume was turned up, haha. I don't think I've jumped that high in my life! Those vocals are fucking sick and the whole mix is intense as hell. Good shit for sure.

as i have told a few of you, this mix still makes me "cringe" a bit when i hear it! but that's probably me being difficult! great to know you guys are enjoying the "Br00talzness" of it!!!

Dude, that was fucking incredible. It was so good it's borderline absurd. I can't wait to hear more from this project.

My only suggestion would be to bring the up the mids on the guitars a bit more (around 500), they are kinda scooped out- making the thrashing a little hard to make out in the mix. That's totally imo, of course. It slays either way.

DIABOLIC5150- i can tell that you have a straight up f'n metal side to you dude, so i am happy you got a chance to hear this project!!! i totally agree with you about the guitars (it was the 700hz that lacked btw)...and the mix is nowhere near done! the problems have, hopefully, since then been fixed, and that's "imho." hahaha! i JUST finished recording vocals for our second of six tracks a couple hours ago, and let me just say...this new song is the "Br00t4lZ!!!"
