Burning .WAV files to CD...

Hmmm, this is weird, but I'm absolutely 100% sure I've done this before with my recordings (export WAV and make audio CD). However, my CD burner refuses to do it. I used to do it with Roxie, but now Roxio says there was an error burning the CD everytime I try.

When I try burning with Nero, it says that the WAV format is unsupported, but I find that hard to believe. Any ideas on what I can do?

Are you sure you're using 16 bit 44.1 Khz wav files? That sounds like the sort of error you get when there's a format difference...

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

If you're in a pinch, make it an MP3 and use your Windows media player to burn it.

This is usually the most common cause of the error. make sure your wave file is this format. In the past I've exported 24bit and forgot to convert then realized what I was doing wrong.

Most burning software WILL burn just about any format .wave file

BUT

In order for it to be a standard "Audio CD" it must be 16-bit 44.1khz. This is the "industry standard".

That's simply not true. Every software I've ever come across will not burn an "audio" CD at anything other than 44.1khz 16bit. Why? Cause it won't play in anything hence it would be a useless burn.
