I didn't know if this should've gone here or in general music discussion, so fix it if I'm wrong.

Anyway, I have a bunch of songs I've recorded over a period of time. I've shown them to my family and friends, they seem to like it. Not many are real musicians though, so I figured I might as well put them here.

Now, I have no where near the amount of talent most of you have. I suck at soloing as well. These are song songs, not songs eith soloing over them, I just haven't gotten a chance to have my singer put vocals over them yet. Also, these where completely recorded by me (bass and guitars), and the drums were programmed by me on Fruity Loops.

Tell me what you guys think.

Just took a quick listen, I'll have to listen to them all more closely tomorow to give you a more detailed opinion. I really liked the ambiant things that you have in your songs though. I dunno what you're talking about when you say that you can't solo. I thought your solo in "father" was good.

Hey, I just had an idea. We should start doing sandwiches for these posts.

We did this in art class last year, Each person lists one thing they liked, one thing they think the person could improve upon, and then something that that person did well.

Hey thanks for the input. I don't think I can solo, I'm just not good at it. I thuink Father was one of the better ones(both of the solos in it).

Yeah, I noticed it too, a lot of my songs are ambient. The sandwiches thing sounds like a good idea, I like constructive criticism.

Aside from how the songs sound/feel or whatever, I want some input on the recording quality and what I can improve on with that. I know a lot of people here are awesome at this, and want a little help.
