Protools and reason.....direct me please.

hi guys, i went to colloge last year and did an A level in music tech.
i realy enjoyed writing and recording our last project as we got a chance to do what we wanted for a change.

so, i've now got myself protools 7.4 and i have reason anyway.

i realy like all of the heavy stuff im hearing from you guys,
and im after the same setup and sound.(roughly)

what do i do to get good drum sound? withou it sounding over processed?

also, if anyone has sound clips of a line6 spider2 head and cab, i'd love to hear if i can get a decent sound from it.


if anyone else is just starting out, i wouldnt mind working on a track together over the tinterweb .
