![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I guess depends in what context you want to use it. If you are planning on adding a full bass line, don't add any low end, otherwise do...and maybe soften the highs just a bit, they seemed a bit harsh |

![]() | i cut down a low of lows and boosted some high mid on it because the pickups were muddy.. hmm...i guess that won't help much unless i use a better pickup.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i've come to realize that there are a rediculous number of factors that contribute to a person's tone. so, only hearing it, i can't really tell if it's the pickups, or cables, or strings, or potentiometers, or amp EQ, or recording equipment, or who knows what else ![]() what about your opinion? what do YOU think about your tone? I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways, we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

![]() | wat i think? i'm using my PODxt..just bought...(yea i need to tweak it to the guitar's sound as well rite?) i'm looking for a fat and tight sounding tone...and the current sound is not i want...no experience with god pickups...seymour duncans...dimarzio? i have a epiphone G400 which i found alrite... for normal rock stuff...not metal....so i attemp to tweak the pod to get a useble tone...so far nothing good yet...maybe i'll keep trying for a while 1st... maybe.. ![]() |
