EZ Drummer / Sony ACID Pro 6

I don't know if my question should be about EZ Drummer or Sony ACID Pro 6, but regardless, here it goes:

A friend of mine who's a six string jazz bassist finally agreed to collaborate with me on some material. I have, as far as I am aware, everything I need to do some full tracks just for fun. I use my PODxt Live to record into Adobe Audition 2.0 and once I have everything I need recorded, I take it into Sony ACID Pro 6 and use it to run EZ Drummer to track the drums. My question is about changing the BPM on a groove in EZ Drummer.

A) Is it in fact possible to raise or lower the BPM of a groove through EZ Drummer before it goes into the program?

B) If not, when I load a groove into ACID, is there a way to effect only that groove when raising or lowering the BPM? For some reason even though it appears that I'm selecting only that section on that one track, it will still take everything that falls inbetween the lines on all tracks and changes the BPM instead of effecting the groove singularly.

C) If not, how can I remedy this situation?

I play in time, it's just that nothing seems to fit well enough and when I customize it gets better, but it's still off enough to be very noticeable.

You've got to tame the devil and make it yours.
