New song I wrote just now for my death metal band

Hey guys,

I wrote another song for my death metal band.

The guitar sound is fairly decent I guess, but the level on the snare and some of the other drums changes a lot, which is a velocity issue that I cbf fixing until later. I know the whole production is lacking but this is just a rough 2 guitars and drums thingo, of the pretty much completed song, so it's not meant to be a polished version.

I think you can hear a lot of decapitated, nevermore and thrash influences in this song. I didn't think it would come out how it has but it was fun writing it. For other songs on my soundclick that are all from this particular band, refer to 'sky of maggots' and 'new death metal song DONE' if you haven't heard them already.

This new one is called 'another techy death metal song EPIC'.

Yeah, I think you need (more) bass. I love the riffs though.

What did you do the drums with? DFH or something else?

The song kicks ass! Decent mix too, the guitar tone has a tiny bit of fizz, but it doesn't hinder it much, if at all.

The drums are EZdrumemr with DFH kit. They are just basic beats I've tweaked a bit. I'll put more effort into them with the polished version.

Expect an updated recording with bass and a much better guitar tone soon, and I'll be re-doing sky of maggots and the other song when I get back to my OTHER home (on uni holidays right now) and they'll get vocals on them very soon.
