New song! - SPAMALOT (pro tools, addictive drums, pod x3) full song

done a redo of my old "pod x3 test" seeing as it had one of my favorite riff's i've came up with in it haha really pleased with this and made this with vocals in mind so theres not tons of lead or anything
used addictive drums on this compared to my usual DFH ez drummer and my oh my i love addictive drums so much
anyways hope you like it let me know what you think

SoundClick artist: Zak Lezaja - page with MP3 music downloads

Sounds great tonally etc.

But am I the only one who is tired of the fact that 99% posted here is this Meshuggah/Bulb/Sikth stuff with identical sounds. (POD XT, sampled drums)

Nothing against you mate, you got awesome chops and writing skills, but where is the originality nowdays?

I am sooo dead hahahah

I don't know, I hear loads of generic bulb all over it, but not as riffy. But it's your music. Seems good sound wise, but Shaman really summed it up basically.

inflames1919 has a spectacular aura about
This track isnt as generic as most people are making it out to be. I've heard a hell of alot worse generic/rip off stuff than this. It really all depends on the vocals. I really like it. Keep it up dude.

great tone, and mix the cymbals might be a bit loud overall, but it's still a great mix

loads of cool riffing too, get some cool vocals over that, and you have a hit

Man the guitar sound and riffage is really "common" thing here around.
But your drum programming is the best around!!!
Respect!

great stuff man

addictive drums pwn EZ dfh imo, too

i'm not too fond of the tone though. mainly because of the hollowness and 'quack' of the big-bottom amp model, which just aren't my cup of tea. it works perfectly in the mix, though

zeusdeux is on a distinguished road
nice stuff there!
one complaint, the bass drum isn cuttin thru the guitars enuf! work on the compression on the bass drum in AD and compression on the master track.
Or try this (wat i do at times), hav two ad s runnin, select the tama imperialstar bass drum on one and the dw collectors on the other and copy paste the bass drum lines onto the AD with the DW collectors as the bass drum. The hybrid sound will hav the click and the boom!
then jus work on the compression on each and VOILA!
and cut the room mic vol on all cymbals. It ll help with the sound
oh and throw an eq in after all this on the drum track
cheers!
