i like how i got to hear the UL!

the tone sounds fine to me man i wouldnt mind that kinda tone myself for metal, maybe i wouldnt want to kinda sell the JSX lol

on a side note, i totally feel like moshing now

Thanks man. Yeah the tone is not bad, but I didn't do a great job in capturing how the UL sounds in real life. First of all I was running it thru the Mesa cab not the VHT one, secondly the Invader is a little grainy sounding, and third... I should just really use a tube mic pre next time as it's just not where it should be.

All that said, it gets the job done for a MySpace/Demo kind of thing

Yeah the DSL100 when properly modified and paired with the right speakers sounds pretty good. You can find them pretty cheap too. All that said, Buddy will probably be getting something new within the next year.
