Come have a listen :)

My first attempt at recording something of my own, just kind of hit a riff and ran with it

Has no bass or vocals yet, bass should probably come this weekend though.

Feedback anyone?

thanks

Hey man! you program your drums right? do you use different velocities on the midi? It doesn't feel like you do... and for the hi-hat, its too bright...
Enough of the criticism.

The guitar sound is spot on for this in my humble opinion, and again it will sound great with some bass

Good work!

Erm In different sections, the quieter verses with the ride cymbal use a low velocity than the heavier bits, but maybe i should do it more?

Thanks for the compliments though

Edit:

Just listening to the recording now, there were a few crescendos in the drum part which seen to have been lost somewhere along the way... Have to see what happened there.

the thing I meant with the velocities was that (for example your snare didn't sound as clear as it usually does at vel. 127) it didn't sound as if had set the velocities up on the drums in the heavy parts...

I may be very wrong here, but something with drums didn't sound as clear as they should. Guitars sound great still though :P
