Guitarwizard is a jewel in the rough
Meshuggah meets Hans Zimmer

So this is my first attempt to "Chuggah"-Style metal, I'd be happy about some feedback!

It's the first song on my myspace page:

MySpace.com - Odilo von Ins - Zürich - Rock / Metal / Progressive - www.myspace.com/odilovonins

If you change 4 letters in "Mama", it's "Beer"!

Me: myspace.com/odilovonins

well, productionwise it aint the greatest, but the actual song is pretty kickass \m/

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I pretty much agree with Ken. The production could use some work, but the song itself is pretty neat!

What are you using for your orchestra stuff, it sounds awesome!

Like everyone said, the production is kind of..muffly? Your solo tone is awesome btw.

Yeh, the production sucks, I know - what can I say other than I am not a producer?

For the orchestral sounds I use the Miroslav Philharmonik plugin.
All guitars were recorded with my shitty POD 2.0 ...

Thx for the feedback, guys!

sounds awesome when you look away from the production. you should get a pod X3 or XT and some studio monitors. that would automatically grant you great sound :P

i dig the insanity of this one, it´s great!
