Mixin' and stuffs: Band I'm working with (zomg listen!)
Unnamed band, unnamed track (You got to love that, eh?). The song is pretty cool. It has a stoner-like feel to it, IMO.
It's very reverb heavy (especially the last half of the song that basically ends in a wash of reverb.. makes for a very cool sound). I've been playing a lot with compression and I realized that a lot of my mistakes in mixing was caused from using limiters on damn near everything. They'll kill the shit out of your sound, especially on snare. Anyway, let me know what you's think. This is my first time getting the loudness out of a mix that I dig the shit out of while not killing the snare (again, fucking limiters).
