Couple of "woohoo new webcam" videos for fun.

These were fun, really. I bought an HP webcam, and used my Samson mic for the audio.

First vid is the Blackjack 7 string, through my Laney/GT8/Avatar set-up. The 2nd one is my S540LTD into my Vox AD30VT-XL. The playing is far from perfect, but I'm not recording an album here.

Pretty cool stuff. The tracking on the webcam isn't the best. The 2nd one is really funny as you can't see your right hand move at all during the runs!
How do you find the GT8 - Laney setup? My current gigging rig is a C7 hellraiser into GT8 into a Laney GH50L, your rig seems really similar. I'm still messing with it to find what works well on it.

Yeah, I don't know if it's the cam or the capture software. Gonna have to try some different things.

I love my Laney.

I have the GT8 hooked up in 4 cable, and use the clean amp models, but mostly for EQ/effects with the GH50's preamp. The high gains in the GT8 don't do anything for me really.

I've it just going into the power amp section of the Laney at the moment. I can get some nice sounds for it, but I'm having trouble getting the lead sounds I want from it. I have it going ok but I think I can get it to sound better. I might experiment more with the 4 cable method. I only played it like that once.

Another one, framerate doesn't look like it gets any better though, and the audio's a bit slow.
