The main riff started out as a jam with me using a patch i normally use for leads. It's a Recto model with an octave fuzz and a ping-pong delay.

Oh, and the main part was recorded direct out of my GT-6. (mainly because i wanted to preserve the ping-pong delay)

There are a couple of other parts in the mix as well that were mic'd, but the main riff is my Dean Evo 7 with the JB. The Danelectro and JP7 are also layered in at other points in the song.

Yep. We used Drumagog Drum Replacer Plug-In to replace the snare hits with that metallic hit, just to give it a bit more of a pseudo-industrial feel. This was also recorded with our old drummer, and despite him being a fairly heavy-handed player, his hits weren't crisp and hard enough for our liking.

We're actually thinking of re-recording this for our next album (currently in pre-production) with our new drummer.

This is kind of a sneak preview of where we're going. The next album is going to be H E A V Y.
