New Friend For A Foe...music to punch a baby to

hello all...i have an extremely rough mix of Reunion posted on my soundclick page. the mix isn't final by any means, but this is to see what people think of the new version with all it's new riffs and new tuning (drop Ab as opposed to drop B). No solo or vocals yet, but those will be coming shortly. Let me know what you guys think! SoundClick artist: Friend For A Foe - If you love metal/hardcore/progressive, then you're sure to have a joygasm. Brutal, melodic, and yet

Man that Ab tuning really thumps you in the chest! Fuckin awesome! And I loved the change at 0:50 and the melody guitars at 1:13... very cool. Also thought the Meshuggah-ish chopped rhythm at 2:05 ruled. The only bad point I could pick up is that your drums sound like what they are... (I had to find something bad so it didn't sound like I was some kinda sycophant).

I really like your sense or arrangement (and the tune ended perfectly), and will add this to my Friend For A Foe download folder

thanks man i really appreciate it i'm not a fan of the drums either at the moment, but those will be changing shortly. everything is going to be mixed a lot better once i get some vocals done and the drums are not going to be anywhere near as compressed sounding. thanks again for the listen!

Hahahahaa, "punch a baby to." I'd bet we'd get along famously if we hung out. cheers

but yeah, damn, the sound is killer. I always thought that tune was in Drop-A but would make sense for such a gap in tone difference (as far as my ears perceived)

I've definitely dug your tunes serjo. Keep up the rock

PS: I dont think the drums sound all that bad. I imagine for what you're using they could sound a hell of alot worse.
