Short ENGL Blackmore Tone Test - Blackmore, EZDrummer, Viper 407

Hey guys. I was just messing with my ENGL today to see different tonal combinations, since I'm still a noob when it comes to getting the most out of this amp. Anyway, I recorded a short clip of an old song of mine. The clip is called "Mafia INC." I don't know why I called it that, but anyways...Yeah.

ENGL Blackmore preamp out> toneport > garageband > Impulse files. Tell me what you think. If you want to hear the "original" version of the song, go to my soundclick and check out "7 string idea". Once I finish the song, I'll post it here again. Let me know what you guys think!

That sound crushing. Didnt expect the blackmore to sound like that.

Thanks man! It required a LOT of tweeking to make it sound "teh br00talz", but it still isn't as gainy as a 5150 or the 6505+ I had.

sounds nice, but it would sound even nicer with less bass on the guitar sound.. or maybe its the bass drum?

anyways to much bass, but a cool bass sound.. cool riff too

That was awesome! Very balenced tone. You don't need a shit load of gain just a lot of doubletracking. I'd be interested in the Blackmore if it wasn't shared eq.
